Community Outreach

The Upper Merion Mother's Club has collected items from its members to fill the wish-list of Army Captain Terence J. Wilkin. These items along with Valentines made by children in Upper Merion have been sent to Captain Wilkin who was raised in Upper Merion Township himself. Pictured after boxing over 150 items for Captain Wilkin are members
Amanda Walmsley and Katie Eck of King of Prussia.

Despite our hectic lives, we all strive to give both at home and beyond.  Each year, UMMC's community service team try to find ways for our members to help the community in simple ways that mean so much to others.

Laurel House Volunteers

The Mother's Club has an ongoing relationship with the Laurel House, a local emergency
domestic violence shelter. The Laurel House is also always looking for volunteers if you are looking for a way to give back to the community. You can also contribute gently used clothing, jewelry and housewares to Marian’s Attic, an “upscale resale shop” in the Valley Forge Shopping Center which raises proceeds for the Laurel House. For more information on the Laurel House, visit: http://www.laurel-house.org/. To reach Marian’s Attic, call 610-337-3068.
